hey internet! its been quite some time, hasnt it? for some of your i may be a fresh new face, and those who do know me, shh you dont.

sometime last year, in december, ive simply decided to shut everything down. for the sole reason of my whole blog being tied to my name, even if it was just an internet name, it still felt somewhat too much. so, i've decided to start anew. maybe its a good thing though? you know: new years new beginnings uwu

i can be a very weird person at times, very cringe, i may make some of you go "what the fuck" and all that being tied to a name i use elsewhere is not a thing i wanna have to deal with. and maybe you have the urge to convince me i am not cringe, but dont bother. i <b>am</b> cringe and thats not really a bad thing either. i wanna embrace it :3 but the only way to do so is to be on a pseudo-anonymous blog. i won’t exactly hide myself or anything. i just don't want to go by any names. for everyone's convenience you may call me pawline, or simoly "pet".

for the very few that will read this, im sorry for disappearing. i know my old website/blog had readeres, and people that enjoyed my stuff in general. im sorry to dissapoint.

going forward, i will be refering to my blog as a "diary", while still aiming to actually use it as a blog. idk i think diary sounds more cute! doesn't it? another thing is that i will very likely keep this current design, without complicating things much. what i have is so simple, yet so pretty. i cant promise not to change stuff around and tinker up a bit, but for now this stays. i have plans to eventually disable forced https, so one can choose between http and https. ive paid great detail to ensure this website actually loads on older systems. the only obsticle is modern cryptography.

as you can see, the website is still <i>unfimished</i>. i hope you dont mind it too much. im currenyly at a vacation/family visit abroad. what you see is made partly on my phone, and partly on my laptop from bed. which im not super used to. i usually sit at a desk to code shit, but here i cant really. still i'm very happy with how it turned out. it really reminds me of old blogs, i feel like mine would fit right in.

anyways, i hope everyone had a great beggining of the year, and i hope the rest of this year will be kind to you...

but finally the elephent in the room: this domain name. you're surely thinking: what the hell, why, why mask.pet. well the main reason is that it was available, the second reason is, as crazy as it may seem to say, i kinda miss masks lol. idk why, it just do be like that ig...
