sit, stay, overthink

hey, that's technically me!

embarrassment as a weather not trauma

it brushes against my ears, my neck, the tips of my fingers. i am not a storm. i'm responsible for the very clouds.

sometimes someone notices my mistakes, sometimes they dont. it doesn't change anything.. embarrassment is like rain: it comes, touches, passes. sometimes you'll be embarrassed. and you'll survive. besides sometimes feeling embarrassed is a good thing. not all embarrassments are bad. sometimes embarrassment is healing. sometimes it's freeing.

you know that phrase to be cringe is to be free? there is a lot of truth in it. you shouldn't look or expect other's approval, and if you accept that you are, in fact, cringe, this also stops being a weapon. if someone says "ure so weird" you can nonchalantly reply "yeah i know and?"

besides, people remember their own storms far more vividly than yours. everyone thinks they're the thunder; no one notices someone else's drizzle. no one really cares as much as you do.

weird hobbies are how people grow gardens in their own climates. just like in real life: not every plant grows everywhere. likewise, is with hobbies. just like gardens, they're proof of curiosity, of play, of still being moved by things that don’t make sense to everyone else. just as someone may think that fly-eating plant is cool, someone else might like toys, figures, etc. its truly the same.

you're denying yourself a lot of fun in life because its "not professional", "not socially acceptable", "being too old", whatever. but if it doesn't harm anyone, why care?

because we can't all have clear skies all the time. some of us are scattered showers, unpredictable gusts, or that strange, humid stillness before something new begins. weirdness, cringe all of it is nothing but a change in pressure.

ive decided to take on being cringe fully. this sites domain? honestly - weird. this whole petgirl thing i have going around on this site? cringe. very cringe. but you know what? i couldn't be happier. i feel free. this is all on purpose as it scares the "wrong" audience. they'll hop in, scroll around, be like "eww cringe" and bounce. those who vibe with me will stay. the ones that get it, get it, the ones that dont, dont. really is that simple! just like the weather does not please everyone, neither do i. this website is my climate. dress for it, or go somewhere else.

you should try something similar, and feel free, too. its worth it, i promise.

to concluede: you don't need clear skies to live well u jst need to stop fearing the rain...
